A Case of Multiple Trichoepithelioma

Abstract
Multiple trichoepithelioma is a heritable disorder of autosomal dominant trait. As a rule, the skin lesions begin to appear during childhood or puberty and gradually increase in number and in size. The lesions are present mainly in the epicanthus, nasal root and nasolabial folds as symmetrically aggregated, skin-colored, rice to pea sized, shiny papulonodules.
A typical case of 10 year-old girl with multiple tricho-epithelioma is reported. In her family, mother of the patient has similar skin lesions on her face.
Literatures are briefly reviewed for discussion of clinical and histopathological findings
of this disease.
